Myanmar Arbitration Centre (MAC)

Myanmar Arbitration Centre (MAC), launched 3 August 2019 in Yangon under Myanmar's 2016 Arbitration Law and established by the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI), is Myanmar's central institutional seat for commercial arbitration -- institutional rules, a panel of trained arbitrators, and case administration as an alternative to litigation. A private-sector body under UMFCCI (a trade association), not part of Myanmar's State Administration Council government structure; no OFAC/UK/EU sanctions listing or Myanmar Economic Holdings Limited (MEHL) / Myanmar Economic Corporation (MEC) ownership link was found for MAC or UMFCCI. NOTE: no distinct MAC logo asset was found (it uses UMFCCI's shared office/branding) -- left without a logo rather than borrow UMFCCI's.
