Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection (Vietnam)

The Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection (renamed 1 July 2025 from the former Plant Protection Department), under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, is Vietnam's state authority issuing Phytosanitary Certificates for exported agricultural produce, managing approved growing-area and packing-facility codes, and negotiating bilateral quarantine protocols. Since 1 July 2025 it applies a new Phytosanitary Certificate template aligned with the ISPM 12 standard.
