Saigon Newport Corporation

Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP; Tong Cong ty Tan Cang Sai Gon), established March 1989 and upgraded to Corporation status on 9 Feb 2010, is a defense-affiliated enterprise under the Vietnam People's Navy. It operates Vietnam's largest container terminal, Tan Cang - Cat Lai (TCCL): 160 hectares of yard, 2,040 meters of berth across 9 berths, handling vessels up to 45,000 DWT. It also operates the Cai Mep deep-water terminal cluster (TCCT, TCIT -- joint ventures with Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Wan Hai Lines, and Hanjin). Services span container handling, yard/bonded-warehouse management, stuffing/unstuffing, and internal trucking.
